For the Combonian Missionaries of the Corazón de Jesús (MCCJ) , this May month is the time of the first religious professions and the renewal of votes. Schools and students in training were renewed for a year more in their religious consecration, while the young novices cast their first votes (chastity, poverty and obedience) following the charism of St. Daniel Comboni.
2023 is an exceptional year of grace for the Institute, therefore there will be 50 novices who profess. Suppose, there is enormous joy for the Instituto de los Combonianos to accommodate so many young people, but at the same time it assumes a great desafío to ofresearching trained trainers and suitable training places. In this sentiment, this year opened two new educational communities: in Graz (Austria), with four schools, and in Chicago (United States), with five schools. It also refuerza la comunidad formativa de Granada (España) con cinco nuevos escolásticos, llegando así a un total de nueve jóvenes estudiantes.
